🥂✨ DRINKING THROUGH THE DECADES! ✨🥂

What better way to celebrate National Assisted Living Week and this year’s theme, “Shining Through the Years,” than by taking a stroll through the decades! 🕺💃 Our residents were given a passport to the past and set off on a journey through our community, visiting five different “drink stations,” each representing a memorable decade. At every stop, they discovered a cocktail that was one of the most popular drinks of that era—and, of course, their passports were stamped along the way! 🍸📝

From decade to decade, there were plenty of memories, laughter, music, and a few favorite drinks to enjoy along the journey. ❤️

Because the best part of getting older isn’t just the years we’ve lived—it’s all the stories, memories, friendships, and moments worth celebrating along the way. ✨

In celebration of the theme, “Shining through the Years”, during National Assisted Living Week, residents enjoyed Show and Tell presentations. Everyone enjoyed seeing the cherished items from their past and the stories behind them. Other residents brought artwork from vacations, gifts from loved ones and unique or unusual items that had funny or sentimental stories. At Park Provence, “We care about their stories as much as we care for them”.

💛 🥂Cheers to 24 years to our beautiful community and two stellar Team members, our Executive Director, Susan Pappalardo, and our Lead Cook, Johnnie Mae Coleman! These two ladies were onsite before the slab was even poured! Our residents celebrated the anniversary during National Assisted Living week by dressing in your “favorite era”. Our sweet Johnnie Mae was out on leave but she was warmly remembered and celebrated! Congrats Ladies, and many thanks for the work you have contributed over the years to enrich the lives of our residents. Already starting to plan the big 25 for next year!

Memory Lane Residents enjoyed a lively Moo Moos and Margaritas party! 🍹😂 Laughter filled the room as everyone toasted with frozen cocktails, reminiscing over classic 70s and 80s sit-com tunes . It was a wonderful day of fun, friendship, and good vibes! Many thanks to our staff, family members and volunteers for all their hard work in making this happen.
