We're proud to partner with St. George Fire Department and East Baton Rouge Parish Emergency Medical Services to supply blood for prehospital transfusions, allowing paramedics to begin treating patients with life-threatening blood loss before they reach the hospital.

This innovative program brings life-saving blood directly to the scene when patients need it most. And it’s made possible by blood donors in our community.

Every donation has the potential to save a life — even before an ambulance reaches the hospital.
