Crazy life update everyone! I am going to be moving back to Alaska. It is very bittersweet as that means closing the clinic and leaving the friends I've made here, but it also means going back home. I'm so grateful I had this opportunity to create Valor Physical Therapy, and grateful to all the people that helped it happen. Perinatal yoga classes incoming at Valor Physical Therapy, first class May 6th! And what better way to celebrate with all the props you bought for class than to build a pillow fortress!? Our perinatal classes are designed to be safe, fun and help build a community ❤️ If you are expecting or have recently had your little one hit us up and schedule a class. ⚡ELECTRIC FEEL dry needling! ⚡ Did you know dry needling is an awesome treatment for IT band syndrome, hip pain and knee pain? Great for the tactical athlete after a heavy shift or training day! I can speak from personal experience it WORKS. It also kinda hurts though, so full disclosure on that one! I’m excited to share that I’m now offering specialized pregnancy and postpartum care at Valor Physical Therapy here in Slidell, LA.

Physical therapy can play a powerful role before, during, and after your pregnancy journey — from managing pain, improving strength, and preparing for birth to supporting a confident postpartum recovery.

I recently completed advanced training through the Institute of Clinical Excellence to better support women experiencing concerns like diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, and stress incontinence, as well as those simply wanting safe, effective movement guidance throughout pregnancy.
