🐱 "Chonky" might be cute, but did you know extra weight is one of the biggest risk factors for feline diabetes?

Because cats are absolute masters at hiding when they don’t feel well, it’s up to us to keep a close eye on their daily habits. If your kitty is carrying some extra weight, here are the key warning signs of diabetes to watch out for:

💧 Increased thirst: Spending more time at the water bowl (or drinking from the faucet).
🚽 Increased urination: Larger clumps in the litter box or more frequent visits.
🍽️ Weight loss despite a huge appetite: Eating like they're starving but still losing weight.
💤 Lethargy: Sleeping even more than usual or having very low energy.
-Weakness (especially in their back legs when jumping).
-Vomiting.
-A dull, dry, or unkempt coat (poor coat quality).
