THE PART NO ONE TALKS ABOUT… Sometimes, healing feels worse before it feels better.
After having two wisdom teeth removed, I woke up this morning with more swelling and inflammation than yesterday morning so I called the doctors office.
I was informed that days 3–5 can often be the most uncomfortable and with the most swelling, and it reminded me of women in their natural fibroid journeys.
Healing is not always linear. As you change your nutrition, support your hormones, improve elimination, and reduce inflammation, increase circulation, your body may need time to adjust. Your first period or two may feel different, and some symptoms may temporarily become more noticeable.
But here is what’s important: feeling worse is not always proof that you’re healing. Waste in circulation and moving through your bloodstream symptoms can be worse and that’s just simply a part of the process.
Sometimes it is your body asking for more nutritional support, and rest and relaxation as it is recovering.
