Everyone’s healing journey is unique, but finding the right support can make a big difference. One client began therapy feeling overwhelmed by past trauma and unsure if they could move forward. Through trauma-informed, strengths-based counseling tailored to their pace and needs, they gained new tools to manage anxiety and rebuild confidence. Therapy isn’t a quick fix, but it offers practical steps toward feeling more in control and hopeful. If you’re facing similar challenges, know that help is available. Taking the first step to schedule a session can open a path to your own resilience and peace.

Ready to take that step? Visit seek-solace.com to learn more or schedule your appointment through Grow Therapy or Spring Health. We're now accepting new clients for virtual individual therapy in Georgia.

Wellness Wednesday 💜

You don’t have to control every thought that crosses your mind. The real work is learning not to give every thought power, especially the ones rooted in fear, anxiety, or self-doubt.

Not every thought deserves your attention.
Not every thought is the truth.
And not every thought needs a response.

Sometimes wellness looks like pausing, noticing what’s happening in your mind, and choosing not to let it run the show.

Feeling overwhelmed but not sure where to turn? Virtual therapy can meet you wherever you are in Georgia. It offers a private, safe space to explore your feelings, develop practical strategies, and work towards a life that feels satisfying—even when depression is part of your story.

Our sessions provide tools to reflect on your experiences and create a plan tailored for you. Because therapy doesn’t erase challenges, but it helps you find ways to overcome them and enjoy life more fully. Whether you’re navigating grief, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck, virtual therapy brings support directly to your home or wherever you feel most comfortable.

Taking that first step doesn’t have to be daunting. We're here to listen and help you move forward at a pace that suits you. If you're ready, appointments are available through Grow Therapy and Spring Health. Learn more at seek-solace.com.

Remember, you don’t have to face this alone—help is within reach.

A lot of people come into therapy thinking there’s a certain way they’re supposed to act.

Don’t cry.
Don’t cuss.
Don’t eat.
Know exactly what you want to talk about.
Make progress every single week.

But therapy isn’t about performing or getting it “right.”

It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to use the language that feels natural to you. It’s okay to eat if you’re squeezing therapy into your lunch break. It’s okay to show up not knowing where to start. And healing is rarely a straight line.

Therapy should be a space where you can show up as a real person—not a polished version of yourself.

Which therapy myth surprised you the most?

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive. I want to embrace every challenge, overcome every obstacle, and live life to the fullest.

Happy Monday! 🌅 Starting the week with a simple reminder from Nicole Tholmer: “Healing doesn't have to happen all at once. Small steps can lead to meaningful change.” Taking time to notice your feelings, check in with yourself, or reach out can open the door to better emotional wellness. Remember, every small effort counts — from setting a boundary to sharing a thought with someone you trust. These actions build toward a healthier, more balanced you. 🌿 Take a moment today to reflect on one small step you can take to care for your mental health or relationships this week. How can you show yourself kindness in the midst of your busy life? Your progress matters.
