Allergy season is almost here! Runny nose, coughing, sneezing, watery, itchy eyes—these are some of the most common allergy symptoms.

Here are some helpful tips to help your child tackle allergy season:

· Limit outside exposure when pollen count is high
· When outside, wear sunglasses and/or a hat to keep pollen out of your child’s eyes and hair
· Wash or wipe areas exposed to pollen immediately upon coming inside
· Have your child take a bath or shower before bed to rinse pollen off the hair and skin
· Keep car and house windows close and use air conditioning instead
· Change in-home air filters regularly
· Wash linens once weekly

be sure to get your child the vaccinated against the flu and use precautions such as wearing a mask or sanitizing surfaces when out in large crowds. If you think your child has the flu, please contact your physician to determine the best next steps.
