Today we celebrate independence, connection, and community — all things we value in helping our kiddos find their voice!

✨ Holidays like the 4th of July are wonderful opportunities to support language development:
🗣️ Talk about colors, shapes, and sounds of fireworks.
🎆 Describe what you see (“Wow! Big, bright, loud!”).
👥 Encourage social greetings like “Happy 4th of July!” or “Thank you!” when visiting friends and family.

Remember: big crowds and loud noises can be overwhelming for some children. Create a calm space, use visuals, or practice talking about what to expect ahead of time.
