This is such an exciting time, and I know every Momma Bear wants to give her baby every possible advantage. Without the side effects of drugs given during labor and birth. The Bradley Method® classes teach families how to have natural births. The techniques are simple and effective. They are based on information about how the human body works during labor. Couples are taught how they can work with

their bodies to reduce pain and make their labors more efficient. ✨ What does a doula really do? More than most people realize. A doula supports the WHOLE woman—body, mind, and heart—before, during, and after birth. Here’s how:

🤲 Physical Support
Massage, counter-pressure, breathing cues, and position changes to help manage discomfort and keep labor progressing naturally.

💛 Emotional Support
A calming presence who offers encouragement and reassurance when things feel intense.

📚 Informational Support
Sharing evidence-based information so you feel informed, not overwhelmed—with someone to answer questions and explain what’s happening in simple terms.

🌿 Postpartum Support
Help with breastfeeding, newborn care tips, and emotional check-ins so you can rest, recover, and feel supported in those early days.

You deserve support that’s nurturing, respectful, and empowering—through every part of this journey.

There are lots of creative ways to ask for donations to your doula\birth fund.
One super easy way to share your wish list is by creating a registry with They are a gift registry that helps moms get what they really need: support! This was a special birth. I think I always say that, but this one really felt extra special. This mama's sweet bonus daughter stole my heart with her complete adoration and support of her mom. The way they'd look into each other's eyes and breathe together, while Isabella whispered encouraging words to her mom during the toughest contractions had me wiping away tears. They experienced this new, scary, wonderful, life changing event together and it was a privilege to witness ❤️ Dad was also a rockstar, preparing the pool between contractions and saying exactly what his wife needed to hear when she needed to hear it.

We spent a lot of time laboring in the bathroom, with mom sitting backward on the toilet while I applied counter pressure to her hips. Did you know the toilet is a great place to labor? You naturally relax the pelvic floor, and when sitting backward it allows great access to your hips and lower back. I've even had clients fall asleep!

Where was your favorite place to labor?

Happy Tuesday!
It’s Amy (postpartum doula) today to show you one real-life way that the women of The Well work together and how you might work with us too!!

While preparing for an outdoorsy trip, I (Amy) knew we would need some extra additions to our first-aid kit for things we do not normally encounter (think…poison ivy 🍃, twisted ankles 🦶, and those 😳 uh-oh gotta go 💩 moments!)

I spoke with Erin (the Homeopath Educator of The Well) and sent her my lists of concerns that I wanted to be prepared for while out in the wilderness. She carefully went through my concerns and sent me back a curated list of exactly what to get, what it was for, and how to use it. She directed me to the website where I could easily find every medicine that was recommended.
Then I placed my order and it was quickly at my doorstep!

Now we can confidently spend time in the outdoors and not have to second guess whether or not we’re prepared 🏕

I love having this option through Erin to know that I’m supporting my family 🌟 WELL 🌟 and to empower our bodies to fight off ailments the right way! It’s a win-win for everyone.

Tell me- who else can’t sleep a wink on an air mattress or in a tent?! Luckily- there’s a remedy for that!!! 😴 Contact Erin for more!

Hey friends! It's Lauren with another Fact Friday.
-Have you heard of the mind-body connection? The thoughts we have create a chemical change in our bodies. Pretty cool! Except for when you are fearful during labor, it doesn’t feel so cool. When fear is present, our body is flushed with adrenaline, putting us into fight, flight, or freeze mode. Physical changes occur such as increased heart and breathing rates. This causes tension in our muscles, which causes pain in labor.
-When women are calm and confident during labor, they’re able to access their parasympathetic system, known as the rest and restore system. They follow their natural instincts and their natural feel-good birthing hormones (oxytocin and endorphins) flow easily. Because they are more relaxed, they are free of fear and tension, and as a result pain diminishes.
-Breaking the fear-tension-pain cycle begins with education. Childbirth education changes our thoughts and perceptions about birth. Understanding the natural birth process and what’s happening to you during labor greatly reduces any fear, which greatly reduces tension, which greatly reduces pain!

Happy Monday! ☀️ It’s Amy (postpartum doula) 👋🏻
Take a look at your baby registry-YES! The baby stuff is adorable and I swoon over everything too. I love it all. I mean, how are clothes even made that small???
Anyway, of course this post isn’t exhaustive and there’s a few more things that can be throw on that list but I meant for it to get your mind thinking… is your baby registry full of cute things for your baby or does it include practical things that you will need too?
Tell me: did you request things for YOU on your registry? You are worth it!!
Are you getting ready to attend a baby shower? Don’t forget to get something for mom too!

Celebrate the baby but honor the mother, because she is being born too. ♥️
