Please welcome Nicole Devine to The Audiology Center of Snellville! Nicole is our newest patient care coordinator and has been with the practice officially since February. Many of you may have already met her or heard her warm friendly voice when calling our office.

With 30 years of experience in the medical field, Nicole is passionate about providing compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care. She moved to Georgia from St. Louis 15 years ago and spent the last 13 years working in an ENT practice, where she developed a strong appreciation for helping patients navigate their hearing and healthcare needs. Her passion for healthcare began with her grandmother, whose own medical journey inspired Nicole to make a difference in the lives of others. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys attending concerts and watching movies with her loved ones. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the community and making a positive impact through her work.

Here are some really valuable tips about wearing hearing aids, if they are indicated for your hearing loss.

Over the years, I had a lot of conversations with patients sitting across from me—sometimes at a desk, sometimes just chatting while they waited. And no matter who they were, many of them were feeling the same things: frustrated, unsure, and sometimes a little overwhelmed.

Our office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 24th. We will take the day to be away from the office for rest and relaxation and at the same time remember our U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We are forever grateful for their sacrifice.

Dr. Vaught returned to Capitol Hill again today to advocate for The Medicare Audiology Access Improvement Act (MAAIA). Along with three other colleagues from GA: Brooke Means, Au.D., Jessica Allen, Au.D., and Caleb Means, we had meetings with legislative assistants for Representatives Nikema Williams, Rich McCormick, and Andrew Clyde as well as Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. It was a productive day for us and many other Audiology colleagues from other parts of the country.
