In April 1973, Walstonburg Community Health Program (WCHP) officially opened a medical clinic in Walstonburg. GCHC transitioned to Contentnea Health in 2023.

119 students from Greene Central High School and Greene Early College High School participated yesterday in the Greene County School system's 3rd Annual Job Shadow Day! Job Shadow Day gives students the opportunity to get out of the classroom, explore careers they're interested in, and see firsthand what a day on the job looks like! Some students visited Contentnea Health Greene and Contentnea Health Greene Dental to see what a day in the life looks like for our medical and dental teams! Thank you to the Greene County Schools for the opportunity to participate in this great event!
