It is with great pleasure to announce the opening of White Rabbit Accupuncture this Saturday August 29, 2026! Archer will be joining the team and we are very excited for this adventure! Booking is now open from his website and QR code. Here is an introduction from Archer!
I’m really excited to be joining the team at Frontier Natural Health and beginning to establish myself in the Kenai Peninsula community.
My background is somewhat unconventional for an acupuncturist. I’m a veteran, and before becoming an acupuncturist I spent more than a decade as a registered nurse, with much of my experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and hospice. I’ve worked in both urban and rural healthcare settings, including here in Alaska. Those experiences gave me a deep respect for conventional medicine and, at the same time, showed me how important it is to look at the whole person rather than simply the condition or symptom in front of us.
I eventually found my way to acupuncture because I wanted to develop another way of supporting people, one that could complement the medical care they are already receiving while giving people greater participation and agency in their own health. I see acupuncture as an opportunity to help people reconnect with their own capacity for healing, resilience, balance, and awareness.
My time practicing in Nepal reinforced that perspective. I spent seven months volunteering with the Acupuncture Relief Project, where I treated more than 1,500 patients in a community clinic. That experience taught me a great deal about meeting people where they are, listening carefully, and offering meaningful care regardless of someone’s circumstances or background.
As I begin this next chapter in Alaska, I’m not simply interested in building a practice. I want to become part of the community and contribute to it. I hope to offer patients my clinical experience, my perspective from both conventional and traditional medicine, and a sincere commitment to helping people become more informed and empowered participants in their own wellbeing.
I’m especially excited about the opportunity to work alongside other healthcare professionals and build bridges between different approaches to health. My goal is to offer a place where people feel heard, respected, supported, and encouraged to take an active role in their health.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here and look forward to getting to know the people and community of the Kenai Peninsula.
