100 men screened, and we’re only halfway through! 🎗️🍻In just the first hour of Beer for My Boys, 100 local men have already rolled up their sleeves for a free PSA prostate cancer screening. That’s 100 dads, husbands, brothers, sons, friends and neighbors taking a few minutes to look after their health. 💙

We love seeing the men of this community show up for themselves , and for the people who love them. And we’re not done yet! Screenings continue until 6pm at Kenai River Brewing Company!

🍺Beer for My Boys is underway! The turnout is so strong, we started screening early! 🙌 Men 40+, come down to Kenai River Brewing Company now through 6 PM for a FREE PSA blood test for prostate cancer screening, and your first beer is on us!🍺 We mail you the results!

🚨Big news from Aurora Integrated Oncology Foundation! 🌟1,508 Free PSA blood tests for prostate cancer screening have been administered across Alaska for 2026 so far!👏

💙1,508 Free PSA tests this year and counting! That’s 1,508 fathers, husbands, brothers, friends and neighbors who took an important step for their health.

🎗This Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, we’re celebrating what that number means for men across Alaska. With 1 in 8 men diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, access to screening and early detection matters. Through funding from our Foundation, 1,508 PSA blood tests have been provided to Alaska men to date. from community health fairs and events in Fairbanks to hockey night in Anchorage and Cancer Screening Day at the Alaska State Fair.

A simple blood test can help detect prostate cancer early, when treatment can be most effective. By bringing screening opportunities into communities across our state, we’re working to make that first step easier for more Alaska men.

🌄Give Dr. Amy Loschert a mountain trail to explore and she's in her element! Trail running is one of her favorite ways to spend her free time, and she's explored trails all over the country. Paddling in the Kenai Fjords is high on her list of adventures to tackle next.
🌱Dr. Loschert loves designing and creating flower and medicinal herb gardens. And then there's the kitchen, where, in her words, “My love language is cooking.” Plenty of healthy, creative dishes around her dinner table!
And here's something we definitely wouldn't have guessed: Dr. Loschert made it to the National Junior Olympics as a sprinter when she was just 12 years old, wow!
💚We are fortunate to have her on our team as our Medical Director of Integrative and Supportive Oncology Services and Naturopathic Doctor and can’t wait to hear about her next Alaska adventure.
