🌿Team Tuesday🌿

If you've been around awhile, you know our beloved & knowledgeable Twila! Twila is our manual therapy and Watsu queen, who never fails to meet every patient exactly where they need to be met. She knows her way around a customized program and is highly requested for a reason!
About Twila: Twila's favorite way to spend her time is with her family, playing games and enjoying her grandson. Twila also enjoys reading in her free time.
Fun Fact: Twila lived in a remote Alaskan village for thirteen years, where she had her own PT clinic.

We're so happy to have Twila!

Movement Monday🏋️‍♀️this summer we're going to be highlighting ways to encourage movement! Whether it be local classes/facilities, trails or events outside, movement tips, etc. Don't forget to treat yourself kindly!

This week we're talking about the benefits of squats (wait don't keep scrolling, hear us out😆)

Squats are important for working on the lower body strength you need to do something as seemingly simple as: standing up from a chair. Want a modification? Try standing and sitting from a dining chair. Want a challenge? Add a reach and lift your arms overhead to work on shoulder mobility. Now you're helping your muscles while doing a PT and OT inspired exercise. Would ya look at that 😉

🌿Team Tuesday🌿

If you're wondering who runs the whole dang show with a kind heart and color coded calendar, look no further! Our very own Brittany is not only the owner, but also a dual licensed Physical & Occupational Therapist. Brittany is always learning new skills and finding ways to grow, so she can provide the best care to our patients and best leadership to our team.

About Brittany: Brittany was born and raised in Soldotna, and came back after graduating from The University of St. Augustine in 2011, with her Doctorate in PT and her Master’s in OT. Brittany spends most of her free time with her husband and kids, playing outside and seeking adventure.

Fun Fact: Did you know Brittany's mom, Kathy, started Alaska Aquatic in 1995? Brittany has taken over the business and added our land clinic in Soldotna. You can find Brittany in the pool and at our clinic throughout the week!

We're so grateful for Brittany!😊
