Kenai Counseling Services is a private practice founded and directed by Alicia Driscoll, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a qualified provider of s*x offender treatment in Alaska. With over a decade of experience in the state, Alicia relocated to the Soldotna area in 2018 to establish her practice. Kenai Counseling Services specializes in providing therapeutic support for individuals of all a

ges who have engaged in inappropriate s*xual behaviors or have been convicted of s*x-related offenses. This includes comprehensive assessments of s*xual offending risk and parental risk, conducted both in-person and through telehealth platforms. Beginning January 2025, Kenai Counseling Services will expand its offerings to include:
Group therapy sessions specifically designed for women. Trauma processing and social skills groups tailored to the needs of adolescents. Continued availability of individual counseling sessions. Our therapeutic approach emphasizes self-empowerment, healthy boundaries, personal well-being, and a balanced approach to s*xuality. We prioritize interpersonal safety and risk management strategies within a framework of person-centered and trauma-informed care.

The Mountain Bike for Women Festival is happening this Saturday. Kenai Counseling Services is a sponsor for the event. A booth will be there with information about the upcoming women's support group. Come check it out. There are still some spots open for participants, if any women are interested.

Today I am struggling with a headache, which has changed my plans for the weekend. While thinking about this I came across a photo of our 14 year old golden retriever, Gunner. I forgot I saved and added a quote with it. It was a good reminder to focus on enjoying the little things, even when some days don't go our way.

I love this photo and the joy he embodies.
