George Spady MD, is a husband, father of four sons and a physician in Soldotna, Alaska. Dr. Spady has an ardent interest in holistic medicine, alternative therapies, herbal medicine and in coaching people to improve their lifestyle to better their health. As an internal medicine physician and herbalist, he believes his work as a healthcare provider with his patients is a partnership. He is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as an Herbalist and founder of Alaskan Boreal Herbs and Boreal Botanicals. His goal is to meld western and herbal medicine as they pertain to improving a person’s mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. As an optimist, he strives to make life fun and enjoyable while being in service to others. In his spare time George loves photography, teaching others, creating a new kombucha, going on plant identification hikes, wild harvesting boreal plants, reading and cross country skiing outside his back door on Loon Lake with his wife.
