Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Advance Care Pharmacy

Advance Care Pharmacy is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a laboratory environment, takes pride in precision, and thrives while working independently.

Responsibilities

* Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous compounded medications according to established formulas and procedures.
* Maintain accurate documentation and compounding records.
* Follow USP guidelines and pharmacy policies to ensure quality and patient safety.
* Operate and maintain compounding equipment in a clean, organized workspace.
* Perform quality assurance checks on compounded medications.
* Manage workflow efficiently while meeting production deadlines.
* Assist with inventory management, stocking, and ordering compounding supplies.
* Maintain a clean, compliant laboratory environment.

Qualifications

* Current Pharmacy Technician registration preferred but not required.
* Previous compounding experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Comfortable following detailed procedures and maintaining strict quality standards.
* Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
