We have a lot of planetary shifts happening today. Are you ready?!

Venus entered Scorpio this morning at 4:07am
Mercury will enter Libra at 12:21pm
Uranus goes back into retrograde at 2:27pm
Finally, tonight is the new moon at 11:27pm! So, if you have any intentions you want to set, tonight would be perfect to do them.

As usual, I have attached the article from Moon Omens on what to expect with these shifts. I have only posted as far as the planetary shifts today from the article. I will post the rest as we hit those other September days. Astrological information can be a lot to retain, so I like to focus on it as it happens.

Moon Omens does have separate articles for Uranus and the new moon. I will post those for further insight. If you are a Mutable sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces), you will definitely want to read the Uranus article.

I know it is a long post, but if you love to follow astrology and how the planets might be affecting us, these give outstanding insight. Happy Thursday!

September 2026 Astrology Forecast: Integration and Recalibration:
On September 1, 11:13 AM —
September 2026 is a month of integration and recalibration that begins while we are, technically, still in Eclipse season. Until the New Moon in Virgo takes place, we are still navigating the lunar cycle that began with the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo. As we start integrating and digesting the changes brought by the Eclipses, we have an opportunity to make adjustments in our routines and habits in alignment with what we recently learned.

September begins with the first exact trine between Jupiter in Leo and Saturn in Aries, now in retrograde motion. The Jupiter-Saturn trine is an invitation to refine the structures that support our growth, and make sure the commitments we make are aligned with our long-term vision and with what is meaningful to us.

Lots of astrological activity occurs on September 10: as the Virgo New Moon occurs, Venus enters Scorpio, Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini, and Mercury enters Libra, all events happening within a few hours of each other. As Venus opposes Chiron and a few days later squares Pluto, transformative relationship experiences are possible, and they are likely to be significant in the context of Venus’s upcoming retrograde starting on October 3.

During the second half of the month, the elements of Air and Fire begin to gain prominence over Water and Earth. On September 17, Chiron retrogrades back into Aries, beginning the final chapter of the healing journey we have been through since 2018. The Full Moon in Aries occurs shortly after the Sun enters Libra and will conjunct both Neptune and Saturn. This event is likely to bring complex emotions to the surface and will ask us to release relational patterns rooted in fear, codependency, and people-pleasing.

As September comes to a close, Mars enters Leo and opposes Pluto in Aquarius while Mercury enters Scorpio and approaches a square to both Mars and Pluto. These alignments could expose covert power dynamics, asking us to become aware of our true motivations and inviting us to make sure we speak and act from a place of integrity rather than ego or fear.

Here are September’s main upcoming transits.

Venus enters Scorpio
September 10, 2026, 04:07 AM EST
Venus’s ingress into Scorpio highlights the transformative power of love and relationships and challenges us to discover what prevents us from deepening our intimacy with others. Here, Venus asks us to look beneath the surface of everyday interactions, confront our fears of vulnerability, loss, and surrender, and explore the deeper layers of our desires and attachments. This transit reminds us that true intimacy requires courage, courage to be seen in our messy humanity, and courage to see others as they truly are, beyond the fantasy we have created about them. In Scorpio, Venus teaches that love is not always light and easy: it is also the fire that purifies, the mirror that reveals, and the catalyst for the inner work that leads to the most profound experiences of rebirth.

Mercury enters Libra
September 10, 2026, 12:21 PM EST
Mercury’s ingress into Libra is an invitation to refine our communication style and pay attention to all the nuances of how we deliver our messages. During this time, we are encouraged to consider multiple perspectives, listen as much as we speak, and choose words that create connection rather than division. This transit supports all pursuits that require diplomacy, compromise, and collaboration, yet it can also bring some hesitation or indecision. Mercury in Libra helps us refine our social intelligence and our awareness of tone, timing, and tact in communication, reminding us that how we say something often matters as much as what we say.

Uranus stations Retrograde in Gemini
September 10, 2026, 2:27 PM EST
Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini is an opportunity for us to question the narratives we have accepted as truths and the stories we live by. It is an invitation to recognize where mental rigidity is restricting our freedom and how our thoughts are still an echo of old conditioning. This period is an opportunity to rethink the way we learn, share ideas, and connect. While Uranus is retrograde, we have a chance to break free from ways of being that are limiting us and identify the thinking patterns, communication habits, and intellectual frameworks that keep us stuck in outdated versions of ourselves. This is a time to reclaim our originality and follow the thread of unconventional ideas without worrying about what others may think.

Uranus Retrograde in Gemini 2026: Inner Awakening
On September 9, 11:12 AM —
On September 10, 2026, 2:27 PM EST, Uranus stations retrograde at 5Âș41’ of Gemini, beginning a five-month journey of inner awakening, one focused on questioning our perception of reality, the stories we tell ourselves, and the patterns we automatically rely on. Uranus will be retrograde until February 8, 2027, inviting us to open our minds to new dimensions and perspectives and discover what happens when we shift our mindset before having evidence for it.

Uranus’s retrograde journey is particularly impactful for people born with planets or angles in the early degrees of Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). These individuals are being asked to turn inward and honor the internal change that has been waiting to happen. They are more likely to experience unexpected shifts in their life path, breakthroughs in their thinking, and sudden realizations that lead them toward new directions and ways of being.

Uranus: the Great Awakening
Named after the mythological Sky God, Uranus in Astrology is connected to everything futuristic, unusual, weird, and innovative. The first celestial body discovered through a telescope, Uranus is a transpersonal planet: placed after Saturn in the Solar System, he invites us beyond the boundaries of ordinary consciousness.

The modern ruler of Aquarius is associated with disruption to known and familiar systems, with the breakdowns that create the conditions for breakthroughs, with all those sudden and unexpected changes that mark a before and after in our lives.

Also referred to as the Great Awakener, Uranus represents the impulse to liberate ourselves from what has become outdated and restrictive, question established structures and habitual ways of doing things, challenge conventions, and open ourselves to new possibilities and more authentic ways of being.

Uranus in Gemini: Liberation of the Collective Mind
In the Mutable Air sign of Gemini, Uranus is fueling a collective liberation of the mind. Uranus has been in the sign of the Twins since April 25, 2026, and will remain here until 2032. After a first taste of this energy from July 7, 2025, to November 7, 2025, we are still navigating the early stages of this transit, one that is revolutionizing how we think, learn, communicate, and connect with one another.

Gemini has to do with language, perception, exchange of information, and our ability to articulate our ideas, observe, name what we see, and make sense of the world around us. This sign teaches us to stay curious, ask questions, and stay open to changing our minds as we come across new information.

As Uranus travels through the sign of the Twins, we have an opportunity to consciously participate in the evolution of the collective mind. This transit is catalyzing fast technological progress and incredible innovation in several fields: it asks each of us to open our minds to new dimensions and perspectives, to consider possibilities we would not have otherwise imagined, and to relate to technology responsibly, with awareness of its potential impact.

Uranus retrograde: Inner Awakening
Retrogrades consist of the temporary apparent backward movement of a planet from our perspective on Earth. Symbolically, retrogrades are opportunities to slow down, turn inward, and reflect on where we are going and why, rather than continuing to move forward on autopilot. Because they promote introspection, these periods are said to accelerate our process of individuation, the journey of reclaiming our wholeness, of integrating all that we are.

Uranus is retrograde for approximately five months every year. During this time, change happens mostly internally, beneath the surface. This is a period of inner awakening that offers us chances to access new insights and realizations about ourselves and our patterns, about where we have been conforming, suppressing our individuality, or resisting change. Instead of waiting for external circumstances to shift, we are invited to allow change to occur inwardly and see how our external reality aligns.

Uranus retrograde in Gemini: Shaping a New Collective Reality
In Gemini, Uranus retrograde offers us an opportunity to recognize ways of thinking and being that limit us and keep us stuck. This period is an opportunity to question how we think, learn, communicate, share ideas, and connect. It is a time to challenge the narratives we have internalized as truths, the stories we live by, and our habitual perception of reality. It is an invitation to discover what happens in our external world when our perspective shifts.

Uranus retrograde in Gemini asks us to recognize how mental rigidity is preventing us from moving toward new possibilities and horizons, and how our thoughts and opinions are still an echo of old programming. This transit is an opportunity to embrace our individuality, celebrate what makes us unique, and follow the thread of unconventional ideas and urges without fear of other people’s judgments.

Uranus stations retrograde while trine both Pluto in Aquarius and Mercury in Libra, and sextile Neptune in Aries. These planets are forming a Kite pattern, which includes a Mercury-Neptune opposition, a Grand Air trine, and the long-term harmonious alignment of the three transpersonal planets.

This configuration reminds us that the changes unfolding within ourselves and in our individual minds are part of a larger collective evolutionary process: the ideas and insights that emerge these days could impact humanity in unexpected ways, allowing us to participate in shaping a new collective reality, and moving toward a new Earth.

September 10 holds another powerful invitation: as Uranus stations Retrograde, the New Moon in Virgo arrives on the very same day. To help you work with this moment and enter the lunar cycle ahead with intention, we created a special gift for you.

New Moon in Virgo
September 10, 2026, 11:26 PM EST
The New Moon in Virgo closes the Eclipse portal and begins a lunar cycle focused on renovating our daily habits, our relationship to work and service, and the way we care for our health. This lunation invites us to simplify, declutter, and reorganize our inner and outer reality. It is an opportunity to set the intention of bringing more mindfulness into our everyday lives. We have a potent opportunity to refine our routines, introduce new habits, and implement adjustments in the structure of our days. The Sun and the Moon will sextile Mars in Cancer, an aspect that supports our motivation to take action on the insights we access and do what is needed to take better care of ourselves.

New Moon in Virgo 2026: the Art of Refinement
On September 6, 11:11 AM —
On September 10, 2026, 11:26 PM EST, a New Moon at 18Âș25’ of Virgo occurs. This event closes the Eclipse portal, as it is the first New Moon that isn’t an Eclipse since the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Leo opened it on August 12. As we begin to integrate all the inner and outer changes brought by the Eclipses, the Virgo New Moon invites us to master the art of refinement and be more deliberate about what we devote our energy to and how we care for ourselves while being of service to others.

The New Moon in Virgo is an especially significant one for people born with planets or angles around the 18Âș of Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). These individuals are being asked to become more intentional about their daily choices and redefine their approach to work, service, health, and healing. They have an opportunity to choose refinement over perfectionism and come into greater alignment with the life they want to create.

New Moon in Virgo: Reorganizing our Inner & Outer Realities
New Moons mark the beginning of a new lunar month: these events occur when the Sun and the Moon meet in the same sign and degree, forming what is technically known as a conjunction, a 0Âș angle from our perspective on Earth. These are moments of renewal, bringing new beginnings and fresh energy into our lives. Before the momentum grows and we start moving forward again, New Moons offer us an opportunity to plant new seeds, set intentions for the future, and get clear about where we want to direct our energy.

This month, the luminaries meet in the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo. Ruled by Mercury, Virgo is connected with the harvest season and the process of separating the wheat from the chaff. This sign reminds us that we reap what we sow and asks us to learn to discern between what is valuable, useful, and meaningful and what is not. Associated with refinement, discernment, service, and the practical application of knowledge, Virgo teaches us to organize our lives in a way that supports our health and reminds us of the power of the habits and choices we make every day.

This New Moon in the sign begins a lunar cycle centered around simplifying, decluttering, and reorganizing our inner and outer realities. In Virgo, the New Moon is an opportunity to explore new ways of moving through our days and commit to bringing more mindfulness into everyday moments.

New Moon in Virgo: Introducing New Habits and Routines
This New Moon invites us to pay special attention to our routines, habits, environment, and daily choices. It reminds us that small adjustments have meaningful consequences over time, and that change can be gradual and gentle: it doesn’t have to be drastic or happen overnight. The Virgo New Moon is an especially favorable time to set intentions around our routines, introduce new habits, redefine our priorities, and be more intentional about how we invest our time, energy, and attention.

Virgo reminds us that the way we live our daily life is the practice; it is not separate from the inner work we are doing. The way we care for our bodies and environment, relate to our responsibilities, and tend to all the details and tasks of ordinary life are an expression and a reflection of our values, commitments, and inner state.

The upcoming lunar cycle will also be centered around renewing our relationship to work and service, discovering different ways to care for our bodies, and exploring new definitions of health and healing. This is a moment to question the systems and structures that keep us functional and evaluate whether they truly support us. We have an opportunity to learn to be of service in a way that is actually sustainable, knowing that it is only possible when we care for ourselves and others with the same amount of devotion.

Sun and Moon sextile Mars
The Sun and the New Moon in Virgo are forming a sextile to Mars in Cancer. This alignment supports our motivation to take action on our needs and desires, and do so from a place of emotional self-awareness. Mars in Cancer reflects a tendency to protect what matters to us and channel our energy into what provides us nourishment and security. The harmonious sextiles between the Sun, the Moon, and Mars help us notice whether our daily choices and habits support our emotional wellbeing and make adjustments to change them if they don’t.

Mars is also separating from a square to Saturn in Aries. During the past few days, we have been feeling blocked or restricted from moving forward, and this feeling is now slowly dissolving. We are now able to see possibilities and paths we could not see before, and the obstacles we are facing may no longer feel so threatening or frustrating. As Mars separates from Saturn, taking action becomes easier: we can move forward with greater confidence and determination, feeling less inhibited, restricted, and pessimistic about outcomes.

Mercury is part of a Kite Pattern
As the Virgo New Moon occurs, her ruler Mercury is placed at 0Âș Libra and forming a Kite pattern with all the transpersonal planets: Uranus, stationary retrograde in Gemini, retrograde Pluto in Aquarius, as well as retrograde Neptune in Aries. Mercury is opposing Neptune and trines both Pluto and Uranus, while the transpersonal planets are in a long-term harmonious alignment with each other.

This configuration is creating a bridge between our personal minds and the collective field: our thoughts, insights, and ideas are emerging and unfolding during a time of profound transformation for humanity, a process that extends far beyond us as individuals.

Mercury’s connection to the transpersonal planets opens our minds to the invisible, mystical dimension of life. While the Mercury-Neptune opposition can indicate challenges integrating this wider awareness with the need to take care of our daily tasks and responsibilities, Mercury’s alignments with Pluto and Uranus support breakthroughs in perception and help us access new insights into human nature, psychology, and the future.

Mercury is also quincunx to both Chiron and the North Node at 29Âș Aquarius. These alignments can highlight the tension between what we currently understand and what we are being asked to learn, bringing to the surface wounds connected to feeling unheard and misunderstood while asking for adjustments in our communication and thinking patterns.

Venus is opposing Chiron, & Several Planets are Activating the 0Âș
As the New Moon in Virgo occurs, several planets are placed on the 0Âș of their respective signs. Besides Mercury at 0Âș Libra, Venus is also at 0Âș Scorpio, and Chiron is at 0Âș Ta**us. The activation of the 0Âș degree points to the strong initiatory nature of this lunation, one that is inviting us into a brand new chapter of our lives after the clearing and releases brought by the recent Eclipses.

We are standing at the threshold of something that has not yet taken shape: this is a time to become receptive to what life is asking of us and give space to what is beginning to emerge without forcing any particular outcome or imposing our timing on this process.

The Venus-Chiron opposition in Scorpio and Ta**us points to the need to take care of deep wounds that impact our capacity to love, trust, value ourselves, and attach healthily to others. Moreover, both Venus and Chiron are squaring Pluto in Aquarius: the resulting T-square increases both the intensity and the transformative potential of these alignments, offering us chances to gain a new awareness of the patterns that shape how we relate to others, ourselves, as well as money and security.

This configuration is an opportunity to recognize how our past experiences are still influencing our present choices, and find new ways to balance vulnerability and self-protection, merging with others and remaining rooted in ourselves.

New Moon in Virgo: the Art of Refinement
After the intensity of Eclipses, the Virgo New Moon reminds us that transformation doesn’t have to be dramatic: small but consistent changes in our daily habits and choices can have a powerful ripple effect on all areas of our lives.

The shadow of Virgo can manifest as excessive criticism of self and others, overthinking, perfectionism, and the belief that we must fix others or ourselves before we are worthy of love and acceptance. The highest expression of Virgo is all about the art of refinement, more concerned with alignment than perfection. This sign teaches us to honor our humanity without feeling victimized by it or ashamed of it, and embrace the messy side of human experience without getting stuck in it.

Through Virgo, we learn that we can recognize what needs to be improved and refined without making ourselves or others bad or wrong for where we are, and for who we are. This New Moon is an opportunity to tend to the details of our lives with more presence, become more intentional with how we invest our time and energy, and deepen our devotion to creating a life dedicated to service that is supportive of our well-being.
