Everas services are available throughout New Jersey with facilities located in eight counties: Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset and Union. We Support People With:

Our Services:

Residential: 24-hour support and supervision with a focus on community inclusion and maximizing independent living. Employment: Day service options for a broad range of ability levels including community and center based training as well as competitive employment. Family Support: Community inclusion services and in-home supports for people living in their own home or with a family member. Support Coordination: Development and implementation of service plans through identification of available resources, programs and services to achieve personal goals.

One week later and this star is still shining as bright as ever! Patrick, this year’s Everas Community Star, was celebrated along with many other people who are leading lives of possibility and purpose with the support of community-based service providers for people with IDD throughout NJ. The NJACP Community Stars event was an evening filled with pride and joy as people were honored and their stories of success, inclusion, and contributions to the fabric of our community were shared. Patrick moved into an Everas residential program after experiencing a family emergency that prevented his family from providing the daily support he needs. Since then, Patrick continues to make our house a home, bonding with his housemates and support staff. His sense of humor, life of the party attitude, and genuine care and concern for others is experienced by those around him every day. He is most certainly a star and we are thrilled for the opportunity for others to see him shine as brightly we do through this special award. Thank you to NJACP for hosting this event and thank you to Patrick’s support staff and Everas team members whose work buoys him as he continues to thrive.

Please join us in advocating for people with IDD and their families, and for the providers who support them by asking our Senators to vote for Senate Budget Resolution #261 which includes a 3% Cost of Living Adjustment for community based services in the FY27 budget.

Community Providers have absorbed nearly a decade of rising costs and can no longer keep pace with inflation. A 3% COLA helps providers to meet the demands of providing quality care while managing the ever rising costs of doing business in NJ. A cost of living adjustment is vital to supporting our system of care in the face of increasing costs in housing, gasoline, food, electricity, and benefits and wages for our direct care work force.

Our reality is that every year without a COLA is equivalent to a cut.

With more than 5,000 people on the waiting list and more than 4,500 graduates entering the adult service system each year, the time to provide sustaining, foundational funding for our system of care that supports many of NJs most vulnerable citizens is now.

The most anticipated day of the year at Everas, our Annual Agency Holiday Party, truly lived up to the hype! This is a special day where the people we support, their families, and Everas staff come together to celebrate the holiday season.

The dancefloor was alive with loads of dancing from start to finish. To make the day even more magical, a few special guests, Santa and his elves, dropped by to spread more holiday cheer and hand out sweet treats to everyone.

As we come together to celebrate the holiday season and reflect on the year coming to a close, we’re reminded of how meaningful our mission truly is. From all of us at Everas to you, we wish you a season filled with joy, warmth, and festive moments to remember!
