Swiss scientists at ETH Zurich created a gel that rebuilds tooth enamel while you sleep. Cavities smaller than 2mm disappeared within one week of nightly application.

The gel contains synthetic proteins mimicking amelogenin, the natural building block of enamel. When applied to teeth, these proteins pull calcium and phosphate from saliva, layering new enamel just like your body did as a child. It's essentially teaching adult teeth to heal themselves again.

Switzerland approved the product in 2025, but the American Dental Association reportedly filed concerns delaying US approval. Critics point out that US dentists earn approximately $170 billion annually treating cavities. A prevention product threatens that revenue stream significantly.

American parents watching their kids get fillings pay $200-$500 per cavity, often without insurance coverage. In Europe, the Swiss gel costs $40 for a three-month supply. Cross-border pharmacies report huge American demand.

Would organized dentistry really block a cavity cure to protect their income?

Why is it that the first thing these so-called physicians want to do is put you on pills first? Most times this exacerbated the problem or causes another. Find yourself an applied Kinesiologist or someone with that particular training in their background and you will find someone who is less interested in pushing pills and more interested in getting to the root cause of your issue. And less invasive ways of doing so.
