Happy Global Wellness Day. If “wellness” content ever makes you feel behind, you are not alone. Real wellness is not a perfect routine!!! (Even though we love to tell ourselves it is). It is noticing what your body needs and getting support when something feels off.

If you want a simple place to start, try one small change this week: a 10-minute walk, an earlier bedtime, or a protein-forward breakfast. And if your periods are painful, your cycles are irregular, your mood is noticeably different, or you just feel off, we are here to talk it through.

Save this post for later, and reach out if you want a visit focused on your goals.

World Infertility Awareness Month is a reminder that struggling to conceive is more common than people realize, and it can be emotionally heavy. If you’ve been trying and you’re not getting answers, you deserve support that is straightforward and compassionate.

A fertility consult is not a commitment to a big journey. It can be one visit to review your cycle, symptoms, and history, and to talk through what testing or next steps make sense for you.

If this is your season, we’re here to listen and help you find clarity. Call our office to schedule.

Feeling puffy and uncomfortable the week before your period? You're not imagining it — and it's not just in your head. 💖
Right before your period starts, your body naturally holds onto more water. It's hormonal, it's normal, and there are things you can actually do about it.
Cutting back on salt that week makes a real difference because sodium tells your body to hold onto even more fluid. Caffeine and carbonated drinks add to the bloating and inflammation your body is already dealing with — so keeping those in check helps too. And as counterintuitive as it sounds, drinking more water is one of the best things you can do. When your body knows it's getting enough, it stops holding on so tight.
The last one is simple but powerful — walk. Even 20–30 minutes a day helps your body process everything more efficiently and eases that heavy, bloated feeling faster than almost anything else.
Small adjustments, big difference💕

Cramping in early pregnancy can be normal.

Mild, period-like cramps can happen as your uterus starts changing and your body adjusts.

But cramping should not be severe, one-sided, worsening, or paired with heavy bleeding, dizziness, shoulder pain, fever, or feeling faint.

When in doubt, call your OB. It’s always better to ask than sit at home worrying.
