We're excited to introduce a new Community Collaboration at Vermont Doula Company!

On June 27th, we'll be hosting Amy LePage of Emerge for two specialized workshops that offer practical, body-based support for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.

🌿 Reconnecting with Intimacy After Birth (9:30–11:30 AM)
For postpartum individuals looking to better understand changes in their body, navigate discomfort, reconnect with themselves, and explore intimacy after birth in a supportive, trauma-responsive environment.

🤰 Pelvic Floor Prep + Pushing Tips (12:30–2:30 PM)
For pregnant individuals who want to better understand their pelvic floor, learn techniques to prepare for labor, and gain confidence in pushing with or without an epidural.

Both workshops:
✔ Take place at Vermont Doula Company in Burlington
✔ Cost $50 per person
✔ Include childcare
✔ Are open to the community

This week is World Doula Week, and it’s one of those things that’s hard to sum up in a single post.

Because being a doula isn’t just one thing.

It’s showing up at 2am when everything feels overwhelming.
It’s quietly refilling a water bottle, adjusting a pillow, or reminding someone to breathe.
It’s answering the same question five different ways until it finally clicks.
It’s holding space for joy, fear, uncertainty, and transformation.

It’s also the relationships. The trust. The moments we get to witness that we carry with us long after we leave your home or hospital room.

We feel really lucky to do this work, and even more lucky to do it alongside the families and team that make it meaningful.

If you’ve invited a doula into your story, thank you. Truly 🤍
