Established in March of 1994, Utah Cancer Specialists is Utah's largest community-based specialty practice. We are dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and management of all forms of cancer and blood-related disease. Our therapies and treatments include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, biological therapy/Immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, and rehabilitative and supportive care for quality of life. We offer PET/CT imaging and diagnostics, and regularly participate in Clinical Research with several nationwide cooperative research organizations.

Before joining UCS, Emma spent three years at Huntsman Cancer Hospital on the medical oncology unit.

Emma strives to be a strong advocate for her patients and to create a space where they feel comfortable sharing their concerns, goals, and needs.

Lace up, neon up, and get ready for a morning packed with retro fun! Featuring a DJ spinning iconic 80’s hits, a live throwback band, air-guitar showdowns, a kids’ Pac-Man dash, and totally rad costume contests for runners, big hair, and even 80’s-themed pets.

The 2026 Utah Prostate Cancer Run & Walk, hosted by Summit Urology and Granger Medical Clinic, is a dynamic community event at Wheeler Historic Farm dedicated to advancing prostate cancer research, supporting patients, and promoting early detection.

This month, we’ll hear from Marie (Asay) Park, MSN, RN, OCN.

About Marie:

Marie has been an oncology nurse for more than 16 years. She is currently the Director of Nursing at The START Center for Cancer Research, Mountain Region.

Through her years of working with cancer patients, Marie has seen the need for a more well-rounded and holistic approach to healthcare. She teaches SOMA breathwork to help establish a mind, body, and spirit connection.

A cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of complicated feelings, especially when it comes to thoughts about death.

For Larry, having time to prepare has given him a different perspective.
