In 1996, it started with one surgeon, a small practice, and a passion for doing work I truly believed in. I had a vision for what this practice could become, but I don’t think I could have fully imagined where that journey would take me.

What started with just me has grown over the years through countless patients, long days, lessons learned, and a constant commitment to getting better at what we do. In 2012, Dr. Bared joined the practice, and now, more than 30 years after it all began, we’re welcoming Dr. Kamrava to our team.

There’s something incredibly meaningful about looking back at those early days and then looking around today. I’m proud not only of how much we’ve grown, but of how we’ve grown—with people who share the same passion for their craft, respect for our patients, and desire to keep pushing forward.

I’m grateful for every patient who has trusted us, every person who has been part of this practice along the way, and for the opportunity to continue building something that began as a dream in 1996.

A lot has changed since then, but the passion behind it never has. And I’m excited for what this next chapter will bring.

Dr. Kamrava brings a dedicated focus on the aging face, expanding our practice with his expertise in facial rejuvenation, including facelifts, neck lifts, blepharoplasty, facial fat grafting, and skin resurfacing.

Having him join Dr. Bared and me allows us to offer an even more comprehensive approach to facial aesthetics while continuing the philosophy our practice has been built on: thoughtful, individualized care and natural-looking results.

What does “popping” mean during a hair transplant? 👀
Dr. Epstein breaks it down with a simple comparison: think whack-a-mole. As grafts are placed, previously inserted grafts can so metimes “pop” back out—making proper technique, timing, and coordination essential.
This is one of the many reasons why experience matters in hair restoration. A specialized hair transplant surgeon and highly trained team know how to anticipate, manage, and minimize challenges like popping throughout the procedure.

The reality of AI is something we need to talk about.

Dr. Epstein recently used an AI platform simply to create a new backdrop for two patient photos—but AI also altered the actual results.

As these tools become more advanced, it’s important for both physicians and patients to recognize that what we see online may not always reflect reality.

AI can be an incredible tool, but when it comes to patient results, accuracy and transparency matter.
