America’s Next Top Entrepreneur: SBA Patriot Pitch Competition Offers $1 Million in Prizes
Since the United States’ independence 250 years ago, American ingenuity and innovation have turned bold ideas into reality time and again. As we approach July 4, 2026, that momentum continues to grow.
The SBA Patriot Pitch Competition, part of the national Freedom 250 celebration, highlights and supports entrepreneurs driving America forward. Backed by a $1 million prize pool from Clover Network, Inc., the competition will raise up and celebrate small businesses that solve problems, create jobs, and strengthen our economy.
The SBA Patriot Pitch is more than a contest – it showcases the grit and ingenuity of American entrepreneurs. All industries are eligible to apply, and finalists will compete in a live pitch event in Washington, D.C., vying for a share of the prize pool of $1 million, with the top grand prize set at $400,000.
To be eligible, businesses must have:
- At least three (3) years of operating history
Generate a minimum of $100,000 in annual revenue
- Utilized one or more SBA capital products
100% ownership by U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents
- Current and good standing on all federal obligations
- Demonstrated innovation within their sector, using new technologies or strategies to modernize operations and strengthen their competitive edge.

Submission Guidelines
- While not required, applicants may use the suggested topics and example pitch to tell us about your business
- Upload your pitch using the submission link for your local District Office submission link Box
- Submissions MUST be in PDF format and are limited to one (1) file upload
- By submitting a pitch, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions
Ten semifinalists will be announced this summer at the Great American State Fair, with five advancing to the final competition in Washington, D.C. scheduled tentatively between September 8 and September 18, 2026.
