The FDA is alerting families about a recall of select Up & Up Fragrance Free and Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes sold at Target due to potential contamination with bacteria that can cause serious infections.

If you use these wipes, take a moment to check the product, manufacturing codes, and expiration dates listed in the FDA recall notice. Do not use recalled wipes and return them to Target for a full refund.

When it comes to your little one’s health and safety, it’s always better to check twice. 🧡

Target is voluntarily recalling Up & Up Fragrance Free and Up & Up Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes following customer complaints of product discoloration, and FDA testing that identified the presence of Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli in product samples.

Two unvaccinated people in Pennsylvania have died from measles, as a large outbreak there continues to spread, the state’s Health Department reported on Tuesday morning. They were the first measles deaths this year in the United States.

The deaths come during a record-setting year for measles in the United States: More cases have been reported in 2026 than in any other year since the virus was declared eliminated in 2000. Outbreaks have popped up all over the country. Lancaster County, Pa., where both patients lived, has been at the center of an outbreak that has so far hospitalized 70 people and infected more than 390, a third of whom were children. Health officials, citing privacy reasons, did not say whether the two patients were children or adults.

Measles cases have surpassed last year’s total less than seven months into the year, according to a tally from Johns Hopkins University.

There have been 2,295 cases so far this year compared to 2,286 from last year’s Johns Hopkins tally.
