To weigh or not to weigh? 🤔
The scale is a loaded topic, I know. Some of my clients weigh in every week or two, and some go strictly by how their jeans fit. Both are fine with me.
Here’s the truth: the scale isn’t the most accurate, and it certainly doesn’t tell the whole story. It’s just one simple gauge of progress. What I care about isn’t necessarily the number, but the overall trends. Are we holding on to muscle? Is body fat coming down, even when the number is being stubborn? Because that’s progress-who cares if you’re losing weight if what you’re losing is muscle and not body fat?
It’s important to remember that the scale is just one tool in your toolbox.
If you’re letting the scale dictate the kind of day you’re having, or you’re stepping on it every day (and I’m talking to several of you…), I may need to stage an intervention.
So tell me in the comments…are you Team Scale or Team Jeans?
And come back next week, because we’re talking about the MANY reasons to stop weighing yourself every day.
