Transformation Tuesday!

Nicholas, our office assistant, began his Invisalign® journey in February 2026. Now four and a half months later, he is a little over halfway done with his treatment and the change is drastic!

Dr. Platt helped fixed his crossbite and pushed his upper teeth out so they sit correctly on his lower teeth. He had braces previously, but never wore his upper retainer (bad!), causing his teeth to shift. He is well on his way to achieving the perfect smile he always wanted!

📖 Loves to travel, go to the beach, or working out (when she’s not working or taking her kids to sports!)
💒 Married to Brian, has an eight year old daughter MacKenzie, a seven year old son Carter, and three brothers who are also like her children
🐟 Has two fish that her son won at a carnival
🍕 Pizza and ice cream are her comfort foods
🎵 Favorite singers are Morgan Wallen & Chris Stapleton
🏝️ Dream vacation would be Hawaii
🦷 Loves helping people overcome their fear of the dentist, while improving their oral health. Seeing a nervous patient love feeling relieved or proud of themselves is the best part of her job!
🔍If she wasn’t doing this she’d be in the FBI (loves investigations) or a flight attendant (loves to fly!)

Two years ago (tomorrow), we lost someone who was so much more than a boss. He was a mentor, a teacher, a friend, and an incredible dentist whose impact still shows up in my life every single day.
I'm endlessly grateful for everything he taught me—not just about dentistry, but about integrity, leadership, compassion, and how to truly care for people. He believed in me, challenged me, and pushed me to grow, often before I fully believed in myself.
His lessons didn't end when he did. They live on in the way we work, the way we treat patients, and the way we try to show up for others. I still hear his advice in my head, still ask myself what he would do in certain moments.
Thank you for trusting me, guiding me, and leaving such a lasting mark on my life and career. You are deeply missed and never forgotten 💙

In honor of tomorrow, Advanced Family Dentistry of South Plainfield made a donation to the Dr. John Nazzaro Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship goes to a student at Paramus Catholic, who may require financial assistance, similar to John when he was a student at PC.
