Know someone who would make a great Massage Therapist? We’d love to meet them.

Some people just have that natural ability to make others feel comfortable, cared for, and heard. Maybe you know someone like that—or someone who has been thinking about a career change and wondering if Massage Therapy could be their next step.

We’re looking for future Massage Therapists to join us at Southern Maine School of Massage Therapy, and we’re asking our community to help us find them.

And we have a pretty great thank-you.

Refer someone who is accepted and enrolls in our Massage Therapy Program, and you’ll receive a FREE YEAR of services at Southern Maine Massage and Wellness in Windham.

That’s one complimentary 60-minute service every month for 12 months.

Yes, really. Twelve months of massage and wellness services simply for connecting us with someone who may have found their next career.

There’s also a bigger reason behind what we’re doing.

We believe strongly in investing in the future of Massage Therapy—not only in new students, but also in the therapists already doing this work.

That’s why all membership fees at Southern Maine Massage and Wellness go toward supporting scholarship opportunities for Massage Therapy students and continuing education opportunities for our staff.

Our members get to prioritize their own regular wellness while also helping someone pursue an education and helping our therapists continue learning and growing in their profession.

It’s a pretty wonderful circle:

Take care of yourself.
Support someone’s education.
Help great therapists keep growing.
Build a stronger wellness community.

So, if there’s someone in your life who you’ve ever thought would make an amazing Massage Therapist, send them our way.

Today, we're reflecting on the ideals that have long inspired so many people: Liberty. Justice for all. Equality. Compassion. Community.

These are aspirations worth striving toward, not just on the Fourth of July, but every day.

At Southern Maine Massage & Wellness, we believe that everyone deserves to feel welcome, safe, respected, and cared for. We believe in creating a space where people can set down the weight they're carrying, take a deep breath, and simply exist as themselves.

As we celebrate today, we also recognize that love of country can include hope, reflection, and a desire to keep building a future that lives up to its highest ideals.

Here's to a world where "liberty and justice for all" isn't just something we say, but something we continually work toward together.
