To All Connecticut Chiropractors and their Teams:
The Connecticut Chiropractic Council (CCC) is pleased to invite you and your staff to an exclusive live Zoom discussion with Anthem Connecticut's Director of Network Management.
Over the past few months, the CCC has gathered questions, concerns, and feedback from chiropractors across the state. The response was overwhelming, and we have compiled them into a comprehensive list that Anthem's Director of Network Management plans to address during this live session. If you've ever had questions about Anthem policies, credentialing, billing, audits, or provider resources, there's a good chance your question is already on the agenda.
Here is just a snippet of what we'll be covering:
What is the centralized Provider Relations team that replaced local account managers, and how do we access them when we need assistance?
What exactly is Availity, and how can Chiropractic offices use it effectively?
When should we stop billing Anthem and transition a patient to self-pay?
What steps can practices take to avoid raising red flags and triggering an audit?
What is the process for getting an associate Chiropractor credentialed and in-network? How long does credentialing typically take, and how should services be billed while waiting?
How should claims be handled when a fill-in, vacation, or emergency coverage Chiropractor is treating patients in your office?
And that's only the beginning. We expect to cover as many of the submitted questions as possible during this one-hour session.
