Independence HomeHealthWares (IHHW) is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and caregivers throughout our community.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers in person and by phone
• Processing referrals, orders, and insurance information
• Coordinating with healthcare providers and internal team members
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation
• Helping customers navigate their home medical equipment needs

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in a medical office, pharmacy, or durable medical equipment setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy environment

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, patient-focused, and ready to become an important part of our growing team.

We’re seeking someone with:

*Experience in a pharmacy, DME company, medical office, or healthcare setting
*Knowledge of medical terminology
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Experience reviewing prescriptions, medical documentation, and insurance information
*The ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities

DME, insurance verification, medical billing, or Brightree experience is a plus!

If you’re compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping patients, we would love to hear from you.
