There was a time when I kept saying I wanted a different practice.

Less stress.
More freedom.
A business that didn’t rely on me doing everything.

But if I’m honest…

I wasn’t changing anything.

I was still making decisions based on what felt familiar instead of what would actually move my practice forward.

As physical therapists, we’re trained to be risk aware. That’s a great quality when you’re treating patients.

It can become a problem when you’re building a business.

Sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and the practice you want isn’t reimbursement rates, marketing, or even patient volume.

It’s staying committed to a model that no longer supports the future you’re trying to build.

That doesn’t mean you have to throw everything away.

It means being willing to ask:

“Is there a better way to serve my patients and build a practice that supports the life I want?”

For me, embracing a different model completely changed how I looked at practice ownership.

It gave me the opportunity to improve patient outcomes, create more freedom, and build a business that aligned with the vision I had all along.

If you’re a physical therapist, PT clinic owner, or practice owner who’s been thinking there has to be a better way, this is your reminder:

The practice you’re dreaming about won’t be built by making the same decisions you’ve always made.

If you’re ready to explore a different approach, comment FRAMEWORK and I’ll send you my free Spine Program Starter Framework.

For 26 years, I believed success meant seeing more patients.

From the outside, my physical therapy practice looked successful. My schedule was full, my clinic was busy, and people assumed I had built exactly what I wanted.

But behind the scenes, I was exhausted.

I was frustrated by the insurance model, frustrated by my revenue, and frustrated that despite working harder than ever, I still didn’t have the freedom I thought success would bring.

The turning point wasn’t another certification or another marketing strategy.

It was the courage to admit that the path I was on wasn’t the one I wanted to stay on.

I thought I had two choices:

Stay in the traditional insurance model… or walk away from insurance completely.

It turns out there was a third option.

One that allowed me to continue serving my insurance patients while introducing a premium service that gave patients another level of care, and gave my practice another source of revenue.

That single shift changed everything.

When the opportunity to do things differently came along, I almost said no. Change is uncomfortable. Walking away from what’s familiar is scary.

But saying yes to that one opportunity changed everything.

Today, I help physical therapist practice owners build practices that create better outcomes for patients and more freedom for themselves, without feeling trapped by the traditional model.

If you’ve been asking yourself…

“Is this really what the next 10 years of my career are supposed to look like?”

Don’t ignore that question.

Sometimes the biggest breakthrough in your practice starts with having the courage to choose a different path.

If this resonates with you, follow along. I’m here to show you what’s possible.

Being a great clinician isn’t enough if the system you’re working in prevents you from delivering the care your patients actually need.

When every treatment has to fit inside time restrictions, visit limits, and reimbursement rules, you’re often forced to manage symptoms instead of solving the real problem. And that’s frustrating, not just for patients, but for the physical therapist who knows they could do more.

So I made a decision.

I stopped building my practice around what insurance would allow and started building it around what actually produces results.

That meant spending more time understanding the root cause of pain instead of chasing symptoms. It meant creating treatment plans based on what each patient truly needed, not what someone else decided would be covered.

Patients started experiencing breakthroughs they never thought were possible. They weren’t just feeling better for a few days, they were getting back to hiking, golfing, traveling, working, and living the lives they wanted.

And for me, I rediscovered why I became a physical therapist in the first place and was able to generate more revenue in my practice.

If you’re a physical therapist or clinic owner who’s feeling burned out, overwhelmed by insurance, or wondering if there’s a better way to build a profitable private practice while delivering exceptional patient outcomes…

There is.

You don’t have to choose between helping people and building a business you love. You can do both and I can show you how.

For years, I thought the answer was working harder.

More patients, longer days, a fuller schedule. My revenue stayed flat, I was exhausted, and I almost lost the part of me that wanted became a physical therapist to help people in the first place.

Everything changed the day I stopped trying to out-work a broken model and simply decided I wanted a different life.

So I built a different clinic.
Root-cause care. Better outcomes. Fewer hours.

This photo is the proof. This is the life that one decision built.

If you’re a clinic owner quietly wondering whether there’s another way, there is.

You know your patients deserve more than the insurance model allows, comment FRAMEWORK and I’ll send you my free Starter Framework to the physical therapist model that will give you the freedom you want and deserve.

Why does your back pain keep coming back?

If it gets better and then returns, it usually isn't because you did anything wrong.

It's because something underneath was never fully addressed.

For most people, chronic back pain comes down to three things, and most approaches only deal with one of them.

1️⃣ Your discs.

Bulging and "degenerating" discs show up on scans in plenty of people who have no pain at all.

So the picture on your MRI isn't the whole story.

What matters most is how much daily load your spine is under.

2️⃣ The positions you're in all day.

How you sit, stand, and hold yourself for hours adds up and determines how much stress your spine carries.

Ease that daily load and you ease the painful area.

3️⃣ The way you move.

When one area isn't moving well, the body compensates and overloads the same spot again and again.

Until that changes, relief tends to be temporary.

Sometimes even after surgery.

When all three are addressed together—not just the pain—relief has a real chance to last.

That's the approach we take at KD360.

Tired of your back pain coming back?

Let's find out which of these is driving yours before you consider surgery.

When your back hurts before the day even starts, everything feels harder.

Getting out of bed takes effort.
Moving through the morning feels like work.
And by midday you're already worn down, not from what you did, but from what you carried just to get there.

That kind of exhaustion is easy to dismiss. But it adds up.

If this sounds familiar, it doesn't have to stay this way.

There are options that go beyond managing the pain, options that actually address what's driving it.

That's what we do at KD360.

You shouldn't have to plan your day around your back pain.

But you do.

You know which chairs you can sit in. You know how long you can stand before it starts. You've stopped doing things you used to love because the payback isn't worth it.

And you've probably tried something. Maybe several things. It helped — until it didn't.

That's not a failure on your part. Chronic back pain is stubborn because it's rarely just one thing. Which means one treatment, on its own, is rarely enough to break the cycle.

There is a way out of it.

If you're tired of managing it and ready to actually address it — call us. Let's find out if we can help.

If you’ve been through injections, surgery, or treatments that helped for a while—and then didn’t—

you may have come to a quiet conclusion:

That there’s nothing left for you to do.
That you’re going to have to live like this.
That this is just the new normal.

I want to gently challenge that.

Surgery can alter structure.
But it doesn’t always fix the movement around that structure.

If you’ve been carrying the belief that you’re too far gone—

it may be time for a different approach.

Something shifts when a patient finally understands what's actually been driving their pain.

Not just "your back hurts" —
but why it keeps coming back.

And what it takes to actually resolve it.

That's usually the moment things start to change.

At KD360 Wellness, the first thing we do is figure that out.

Not just where the pain is —
but what's behind it.

What's been missed.
And what a real path forward looks like.

From there, we map the full plan.

Every phase.
Every milestone.

What progress looks like along the way —
and what full recovery actually means for you and your life.

No guessing.
No "let's see how you respond."

A clear path from where you are now
to where you want to be.

If you've been dealing with pain that keeps coming back —
or feel like you've never quite gotten all the way back —
that's exactly who we're here for.

Have you ever finished physical therapy…
but still didn’t feel fully back to normal?

This happens more often than people realize.

You go to PT.
You improve.
Pain decreases.

But when it comes to getting back to the things you actually want to do—

It still doesn’t feel the same.

Lifting.
Yardwork.
Staying active.
Even getting back to workouts or higher-level activities.

And it can leave you wondering:

“Is this just as good as it gets?”

In many cases, it’s not.

Sometimes care ends because:
• Insurance visits run out
• Costs start to add up
• Or things feel “good enough” for daily life

But “good enough” isn’t always the same as full recovery.

There’s often another level you can reach—
with the right plan and progression.

If you’ve ever felt like you stopped just short of where you wanted to be…

You’re not alone.
