25 years ago , I was preparing for my wedding today. I watched the towers be hit on the TV at the caterers at the IBM country club in Johnson City NY. Barry was in Southampton. I remember feeling so many emotions … Would I be getting married, were any of our friends & loved ones killed ? Would they attack Long Island next ??? My heart broke for all those people involved… moved by the selflessness of the first responders … in Shock & Sadness.
I will never Forget …. And the biggest lesson I learned was that LOVE ALWAYS WINS . And I Believe what lies at the core of ALL Human existence Is LOVE, Resilience & Compassion.
