Our Summer Concert Series came to a wonderful close with The Hilltop Dawgs bringing the music, the energy, and plenty of familiar songs to the lawn this past Tuesday. The weather could not have been better, with blue skies, a beautiful sunset, and just enough of that early fall chill in the air.

Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the season. We loved seeing residents, friends, and neighbors come together for these evenings of music at Seabury at Pomperaug Woods. 🎶🌅

Our Environmental Services team helps keep Seabury at Pomperaug Woods clean, comfortable, welcoming, and running smoothly for residents, families, and staff. Their hard work is often behind the scenes, but it makes a difference in every hallway, room, and shared space.

Last week, residents enjoyed a lovely outing to the Burnham Library in Bridgewater, Connecticut, to view an exhibit by fiber artist Kate Themel.

Her work was truly something to see, with thousands of stitches, layers upon layers of fabric, and so much color, texture, and detail in every piece. It was a unique and inspiring exhibit, and well worth the beautiful ride there.

We love finding new places to explore, appreciate the arts, and enjoy time together beyond our campus. 🎨🧵

Since joining Pomperaug Woods in May 2025, Mohammad has become a dependable and trusted part of our community. As one of our dedicated drivers, he helps make sure residents feel safe, comfortable, and at ease whenever they are traveling to appointments, outings, or around town.

Residents often comment on Mohammad’s kindness, patience, and calm presence, and his willingness to jump in and help wherever needed says so much about the kind of teammate he is. From keeping vehicles safe and ready to go to supporting residents with care and positivity, Mohammad plays an important role in daily life at Pomperaug Woods.
