⏰ Time. Our most valuable asset. How we spend it shows who we truly are.

Saying goodbye to clients for whatever reason brings me to reflect on how I show up. I try to have no regrets.

Did I give them my full undivided attention?

Did I do everything in my power to fill my own cup in order to show up for others to the best of my ability?

Can I say goodbye without wishing I did more for them?
And Honestly….. how is this any different than our whole entire life?!?
So grateful massage has kept me in this mindset for so many years. No matter your role, at some point you show up for others, but first you show up for yourself.

💜 Every massage therapist has “their number”
Thats how many hours you can give physically to clients and make it to the end of the week, EVERY week, and maintain that. I am so so grateful to still take on the client load that I do at almost 17 years of practicing, but I kept noticing every month we had to book out farther and farther on the calendar.
Thinking it would calm down month after month was in hindsight , incorrect 😬

💙 So here we are and for the time being my books are closed. I am here to be of service to who ever I CAN and for now I cannot open up any more spots to allow someone new. I am thankful everyday for the trust and commitment that happens on my table.

These high school sweethearts come every month for their massages, restock on magnesium butter and now they will be taking home their Pulsetto Fit to share with the family!! I am so proud of your commitments to preventative care and your trust in me over the years. You two know how to do dates just right 👌🏽
While one of them gets their massage, the other is on the inversion table, foam rolling , icing if they need it, stretching and hydrating. Then visa versa. Oh and of course chatting away as well!!

It really is such a pleasure every month to have you in my life.

💚 Any tool that can improve stress management and lower cortisol levels is absolutely something I’ll stock my shelves with for you.

Things I couldn’t fit into the audio:

🙋🏻‍♀️ Who cannot use the Pulsetto?

-If you have any active electrical implant ie. pacemaker, internal nerve blocker or inner ear device.
-If you have ANY metal in your cervical spine
-If you are prone to seizures

The Pulsetto Fit is used to increase vagal tone over time which will improve sleep, stress resilience, mental clarity, and relaxation.

It’s super portable and holds a charge for hours of use!

🤫 “So I have to tell you I cheated on you.”

Ya’ll are so cute. Listen. A good massage therapist or ANY wellness practitioner is never going to be upset with this. PLEASE build yourself a wellness team that works for you. Trust me none of us want to be your answer to it all. Yes even with massage. There are hundreds of modalities that can help you achieve different goals so by all means, organize your wellness routine with whoever is going to get you there. Speaking for myself, I prefer to see you well and practicing injury prevention instead of addressing issues after the fact. I’m tagging practitioners in this community that I personally know would be glad to help you!

1. Detach. Unplug. Take off the watch. Silence your phone. This doesn’t necessarily aggravate ME but it makes me sad for you. We only have so much time together.

2. Your appointment time is ideally when your massage therapist wants you on the table. Recommending coming 10 min early is to account for traffic or let’s face it (the train) and for you to use the restroom. Set yourself up to start your session with the least amount of stress as possible.

3. Do not yank or try to adjust my headrest. I will absolutely move it to make it comfortable. Everyone likes the angle on their neck quite different but if you do not handle this piece properly eventually the washer and bolt come loose and it will slip when I apply pressure during the session and your head falls down. No bueno.
