Testimony time! I have worked with children and families most of my career. However, ever since I had my oldest the Perinatal and Postpartum world and how I can support this population collided with my purpose. Especially with the disparities with BIPOC population. Well as a mental health professional I wanted to take a Perinatal Mood Disorder Training especially the one by but cost was a issue. We'll this year I decided to invest in myself and promote my services. I tried to get my job to pay for it and it was denied, so I applied for a scholarship for the training. I didn't hear back so I paid for it by faith investing in myself. I drove to Chicago (4 hr drive) and attended the 2 day training. I decided to do the 1 day advance training another time due to finances. Well I attend the training with 3 great trainers , and Birdie Meyer. Day 2 I got an email I was approved for a scholarship so I signed up for the advanced training since i was alreadythere. Now I have all the training needed to become fully certified!🙌🏽 invest in yourself, you never know what will happen next❤️
