MIUCP Charity Hockey Event Since the year 2000, we have raised nearly $700,000. All proceeds from this charity event will be used to assist people with disabilities and their families.

All proceeds from this event go to MI-UCP (Michigan United Cerebral Palsy) where our mission is to Close the Disability Divide. 2026 MI-UCP Red Wing Alumni Charity Hockey Game

Since the event began in 2000, we h

ave raised nearly $700,000. MI-UCP (Michigan United Cerebral Palsy) is a local non-profit advocacy organization representing the needs of the 2.4 million Michiganders who with a disability. The Detroit Red Wing Alumni Association, which is the oldest such organization in the NHL, now plays around 30 games a year to the benefit of worthy charities. The alumni roster includes such names as John Ogrodnick, Darren McCarty, Todd Bertuzzi, Dino Ciccarelli Dennis Hextall, Joe Kocur, Craig Wolanan, Pat Peake, Eddie Mio and Mickey Redmond.

Hockey Mentors for Special Players is hosting a FREE Adaptive Skating & Hockey Experience for children, teens, and adults with disabilities or special needs.

📍 Buffalo Wild Wings Arena – Troy, MI

This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals of all abilities to experience the joy of hockey in a fun, supportive environment.
