The world works better with us- when inclusion is thought of from that start, when society views people with disabilities as equal contributing members that is the scaffolding that leads to participation in our communities as voters, as parents, as athletes, as citizens.
Inclusion isn’t expensive rather it starts with the basic mindset that people with disabilities are equal.
July is Disability Pride Month- a time to celebrate people with disabilities and acknowledge the work ahead to truly make our society inclusive and equitable

This week Walk The Line is celebrating our 19th Anniversary!

Over the last Nineteen years we have had the opportunity to partner with hundreds of individuals on their journey to recovery- whatever that means to them, we’ve participated in the advancement of recovery science for people with neurological conditions both practically in the clinic and through nationwide collaboration with other centers and providers, we’ve helped shape dozens of clinicians through student clinicals and employment. We have so many accomplishments to be proud of but, by far, the greatest achievement is providing an environment where the individuals we serve feel heard, respected and hopeful.

Walk The Line is a place where people are free to believe in the limitless possibilities of healing, free to challenge themselves physically & mentally knowing they are not alone and free to be who they are at every moment in their journey.

We are forever grateful to the past and current team members that have helped our dream as a family come to life and to the individuals and their families that entrust us with their care.

Today we hung Drew’s wheelchair and honored the long road, hard work and determination that continues to drive his recovery journey forward.

Today was a milestone for Drew and for us to be part of his team supporting him, encouraging him, celebrating him.

As Walk The Line approaches our 19th Anniversary we feel truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our clients, their teams and families.

Big shout out to his OT Debbie from Galaxy Brain & Therapy Center, Speech Therapist Shelley, Case Manager Lori and his parents Brad and Lori!
