It's National Immunization Awareness Month. πŸ’‰ If you're pregnant, certain vaccines are essential for protecting you and your baby's health.

🀰 Tdap: Recommended between 27–36 weeks to protect your newborn
from whooping cough

🀧 Flu shot: Safe during pregnancy and recommended during flu season

Both help pass protective antibodies to your baby before they're old enough to be vaccinated themselves. Talk to your provider about which vaccines are recommended for your pregnancy: https://tinyurl.com/2xv48dss

For this week's Motherhood Mondays, let's talk about returning to work while breastfeeding. πŸ’ΌπŸ€±

Going back to work doesn't mean your feeding journey has to end. These tips can support a smoother transition:
⏰ Practice pumping before your first day back.
πŸŽ’ Pack extra flanges/parts so you're not stuck mid-day.
πŸšͺ Talk to your employer about a private space to pump.
🧊 Know your storage guidelines for breastmilk at work.

It may take a week or two to find your rhythm, and that's completely normal. Be patient with yourself!

For Motherhood Monday, we're going to cover two words that seem to follow new moms everywhere: bouncing back.

Whether you see a video on social media, read about it in a magazine or see a commercial for supplements, someone is always trying to tell you how to change your body after having a baby. But your body just brought another human into the world - and that's amazing!

It's okay to have mixed emotions about your postpartum body, but instead of judging it, love it by:

πŸ‘• Dressing for your comfort
πŸ›Œ Prioritizing rest
πŸ›€ Creating a self-care routine
