After being a friend of the Alzheimer’s Association for many years, and more recently being faced with the realities of a personal caregiving journey, we are so glad to have Laura Hutchinson of WTNH News 8 back for another year to emcee our Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Central Connecticut on October 17th. 💜

Join Laura and the Central CT community in Bristol as we come together to take action and honor all those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia at alz.org/CTwalk.

This September, turn your passion into progress. 💜 Whatever you love — baking, golfing, gaming, hiking — you can make it a fundraiser to help end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

When you raise $200 between Sept. 1–30 for Do What You Love to End ALZ during the World Alzheimer's Day Challenge, we'll send you this exclusive crewneck sweatshirt as a symbol of your impact. Every dollar you raise moves us closer to a world 🌍 without Alzheimer's.

Create your fundraiser or find fundraising tips at alz.org/dowhatyoulove.

Dementia affects a person’s ability to communicate, making it hard to convey their wants and needs to the people around them. Join us next Thursday as we partner with the Hospital for Special Care Center for Cognitive Health to explore how to use a person-centered approach to communicate more effectively with a person living with dementia at any stage of the disease.

To register, contact [email protected] or 860-827-1958 x3206.
