If you are a man and diagnosed with low T, please ask for a work up before starting T therapy.

Common reasons to have low T
1. High prolactin in the blood due to pituitary tumor
2. Iron storage issue such as hemochromatosis
3. Obesity
4. Narcotic pain medication
5 pituitary tumor that is not secreting prolactin.

Treatment of above conditions will result in improvement of T level.

Also please aim for age matched mid level instead of over 800 ng/ml since it can result in significant side effects .

MIND diet - if you can prevent dementia please read on!

Mediterranean- DASH Diet Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay diet.

Main idea
Focused on 10 brain friendly food categories, especially vegetables, berries, whole grains, nuts, olive oil and small amounts of poultry and fish while limiting foods high in saturated fats, trans fats, and added sugars, butter and margarine, cheese, red meat, fried food, pastries and sweets.

They saw the volunteers with the highest MIND diet scores had brains with cognitive abilities of a person 7.5 years younger than those with lowest score.

It is very good news for all of us!
