Congratulations to Mendy Landreth, our founder and clinical director, on recently earning the designation of Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor, authorizing her to oversee counselors working towards becoming credentialed play therapists.

In 2017, Mendy became a Registered Play Therapist (RPT™). Since then, she has completed thousands of hours of client experience and received specialized supervisor instruction to earn her new title of RPT-S™. What an amazing accomplishment, Mendy! We are proud of you!

Honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Garry Landreth — a professor, mentor, and leader whose impact reached far beyond the classroom at UNT. His wisdom, compassion, and dedication to shaping future generations will continue to live on through the countless students, colleagues, and families he influenced throughout his life and career.

Though many knew him professionally, his greatest legacy is also seen in the family he loved and the lives he helped shape personally.

May his memory continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Congratulations to Allison Moore for becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S)! 🎉

What an accomplishment! To earn this special designation, 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience and 40 hours of advanced training are required. Allison's achievement evidences her exceptional dedication to continued professional development, which is what has enabled her to provide such high-quality therapeutic services. Her commitment to excellence shows how deeply she cares for her clients and their families.

We are excited to announce a new intern, Katy Popovitch, is joining our team! Katy, a journalism and communications graduate from Ohio State, is our Content Creation Specialist and will help with our social media, blog and marketing efforts.

She is excited to learn more about the counseling field and running a private practice through this internship because she is pursuing a new career in professional counseling.

In her free time, Katy enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and cheering on the Dallas Stars and Ohio State Buckeyes.
