I was honored to co-present with Dr. Radhika Dani on psychological factors that underlie hate crimes at the 3rd Annual Hate Crime Forum sponsored by Dallas Police Department Community Affairs. The DPD Community Affairs division works tirelessly to offer content that heals our communities, which aligns perfectly with our mission at Chrysalis Community to promote healing, connection, and kindness. The Fund supports projects meeting their 4 pillars of intervention for racial equity: Health Equity, Knowledge Production, Educational Equity and Workplace Equity.

Dr. Dodd finds the intersection of different domains of research and clinical experience to be the place of greatest creativity for him. He was honored to contribute to a wonderful journal article on the value of a psychoanalytic lens on sport.

These two domains of study and practice often do not intermingle but I believe there is tremendous potentiality in their integration.
