🎰✨ What an incredible night at our 4th Annual Nexus Casino Night! ✨🎰

This year, we stepped back in time for a fabulous 1920s Speakeasy-themed evening, complete with vintage cocktails, delicious food, and plenty of gambling fun! 🥂🎲🃏

Our residents and families had an incredible time, creating memories together and enjoying a night filled with laughter, connection, and a little friendly competition. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to our Senior Director of Resident Engagement, Tammie, and her amazing Engagement Team, as well as our incredible Leadership Team, for making this special evening possible!

A very special shout-out to Silverado Hospice for helping fund this amazing event and making the evening even more memorable. We are so grateful for your continued support! ❤️

And thank you to all of our wonderful community partners who joined us for the celebration and generously donated raffle prizes. Your partnership means so much to our residents, families, and community! 🎁

This month, we traveled all the way to Africa through the beauty of culture, music, and dance! Our residents had an incredible experience as two of our amazing Associates performed a traditional Rwandan dance for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

The involvement of our Associates in our programming is truly inspiring and amazing! They bring their talents, cultures, and personal stories into our community, creating meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences for our residents.

At Silverado, we believe the world is our classroom—and there is no limit to the places we can explore together! 🌎✨

Music has a special way of bringing people together. It sparks memories, encourages expression, and reminds us that every person has a story, a voice, and something meaningful to share.

🌍🚴 WOW... Silverado Southlake has gone INTERNATIONAL! 🇺🇸➡️🇪🇸

Our amazing Administrator, Gilbert, is proudly representing Silverado Southlake in Barcelona, Spain, as the excitement surrounding the Tour de France gets underway!

We can't wait to hear all about this incredible adventure and the memories he'll bring back to share with our residents, families, and team.

But before the adventure even began, Gilbert reminded us what Silverado is all about. He selflessly gave his umbrella to an elderly gentleman walking along the sidewalk, making sure a senior stayed under the shade while he got some sun himself.

That simple act of kindness speaks volumes.

Gilbert, thank you for representing Silverado with compassion, integrity, and a servant's heart. No matter where you are in the world, you continue to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to honoring and supporting seniors.

Have an amazing trip, Gilbert! We know you'll make Silverado Southlake proud!

A new chapter begins at Silverado.

This month, we proudly welcomed Wayne Sanner as our new Chief Executive Officer and President, as our founder, Loren Shook, stepped into the role of Executive Chairman and Founder.

For nearly 30 years, Loren led Silverado with one guiding belief: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, purpose, and love. That belief became who we are.

That legacy now moves forward. Wayne brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership and the same commitment to the people at the heart of everything we do.

Join us in celebrating Loren's incredible impact, and in welcoming Wayne to this next era. The future is bright and together, we'll keep changing lives with purpose, compassion, and excellence.

What an incredible 4th of July Celebration!

Our Independence Day Picnic was a wonderful success, and our hearts are full! It was such a joy celebrating with our amazing residents and their families as we honored the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our families who joined us and made the day so special. Your presence, laughter, and fellowship made this celebration one to remember.

The smile that lights up when a favorite song starts playing. The quiet smile shared between a resident and the caregiver who knows exactly how she takes her coffee. The big, full-belly laugh during a culinary class. The soft smile when a four-legged friend curls up beside her chair.

These moments are not random. They are the result of a community built around what truly matters. Connection. Familiarity. Purpose. Joy. Every day at Silverado is intentionally designed to create the conditions for residents to feel safe, seen, and genuinely happy.

🌱💚 Growing with Purpose at Nexus Horticulture Club! 💚🌱

Our Nexus Horticulture Club residents have discovered an incredible purpose for their gardening efforts! This week, they proudly harvested fresh yellow squash and delivered it to our Culinary Department.

A special thank you to Rhonda and Carolyn, who had a wonderful time delivering these delicious vegetables to our Culinary Director, Omar, and one of our talented cooks, Nicholas.

There's something truly special about seeing our residents contribute directly to the meals enjoyed in our community. Their hard work, dedication, and green thumbs are helping provide fresh, nutritious ingredients for our kitchen while creating meaningful experiences and a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

We're so proud of our gardeners and grateful for everyone who helps make opportunities like this possible! 🌼🥒💛
