INTEGRATIVE HEALTH PROFESSIONAL | FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION | MANUAL THERAPY
Helping adults reduce chronic inflammation and improve healthy aging through evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and manual therapy. My practice is primarily CranioSacral Therapy with supportive techniques from Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Therapeutic Massage when applicable. CranioSacral The

rapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. This therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience, while improving the functioning of the central nervous system and allowing the body to self-correct. CranioSacral Therapy is increasingly used as a preventative health measure and can be effective in reducing pain and dysfunction in a number of medical problems including: headaches, migraines, TMJ, neck pain, back pain, Post Concussion Syndrome, TBI, ADD, ADHD, Fibromyalgia, stress and tension, chronic fatigue, gastrointestinal issues, sinus issues, depression, tinnitus/vertigo, and many more. CBD (cannabidiol) Oil is derived from H**p Plants and has been very effective as an anti-inflammatory, neuro-protectant, anti-emetic, anti-convulsant, anti-depressant, anxiolytic, antioxidant, anti-tumoral, anti-cancer, and anti-psychotic. Many clients are using CBD Oil for pain management, anxiety, depression, sleep, and as a preventative health care supplement. We carry high quality, organic CBD Oil in a variety of forms to meet the needs of most people and pets.

Yes! Eat chocolate! More specifically, eat fresh cacao! Cacao (kuh-KOW ) powder (cocao) is a nutritional powerhouse, with research showing it offers multiple health benefits due to its high levels of antioxidants (flavonoids), magnesium, and iron. Research suggests these compounds help reduce cardiovascular mortality, lower blood pressure, improve cognitive function, and fight age-related inflammation. While these benefits make cacao powder worth including in our daily diets, it is important to choose organic, cold-pressed, third-party-tested products that are low in lead and cadmium, as some cacao can be high in heavy metals. To enjoy the benefits without adding calories, mix it into smoothies, coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal, or even desserts, sweetening with honey, maple syrup, or dates rather than sugar. Although research has not determined a recommended daily allowance, most studies focus on 1-2 tablespoons per day for health benefits and a tasty treat! My new morning coffee ritual :-)

A Mass General Brigham-led clinical trial that tested the effects of cocoa flavanols detected signs of anti-inflammatory potential and heart-protective effects.
