🎶 Music on the Porch at Southwick Village! 🎶

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the joy of music! Several talented musicians and vocalists shared their gifts with us, filling the porch with great songs, smiles, and plenty of good cheer.

Music has a special way of bringing people together, stirring memories, and lifting our spirits—and today was a perfect example! 🎤🎸🎶❤️

🎶 What a fabulous afternoon of music! 🎶

We were treated to a wonderful musical performance today by the incomparable Ritchie Mitnick and Ethel Lee! Their talent and energy made the afternoon extra special—and what a perfect way to celebrate our August birthdays! 🎂🎉

Great music, great company, and plenty of smiles. What a treat! ❤️🎵

🇩🇪 Amazing Race Day #5: Germany — Our Grand Finale! 🇩🇪

What a way to finish an AMAZING week!

Today’s competition began with a grueling Stein-Hold Challenge. It came down to just two competitors, but Irv held strong and ultimately took the win for his team! 💪🍺

Our final challenge of the week was an Amazing Race Word Find Puzzle, and Toni’s team raced to victory! 🧩🏆

After all that competition, we celebrated German-style with brats, pretzels, and beverages. 🥨🌭

Five days, five countries, lots of challenges, plenty of laughter, and some wonderful teamwork.

What an AMAZING RACE! 🌎🏁🏆

🇮🇹 Amazing Race Day #4 — Italy! 🇮🇹

Another fun-filled day of challenges! We started by stacking corks, followed by a pasta-sorting challenge—with plenty of laughs along the way!

Then our amazing Culinary Team treated us to a delicious Italian dinner! We started with Tortellini Soup, followed by an incredible Osso Buco, served with olive oil focaccia bread, and finished with a decadent chocolate cake. 🍝🍷🍫

What a wonderful way to experience Italy! 🇮🇹

Tomorrow is our final Amazing Race destination—Germany! 🇩🇪 Stay tuned!

🌍 Amazing Race Day #3: Morocco! 🇲🇦

Day #3 of our Amazing Race was filled with energy, laughter, and a little Moroccan adventure!

Our first challenge was to help our small camels make their way across the oasis, using only a wooden dowel and a shech—a traditional Moroccan desert face covering—tied to the dowel. As you can imagine, hilarity ensued! 🐪😂

Next, the amazing Tara Murphy brought the energy with a lively Moroccan drumming session. 🪘🎶 Everyone got into the rhythm and had a wonderful time!

We wrapped up our Moroccan adventure with a tasting of Kafta kebabs, a flavorful dish from the region. 😋

Tomorrow, our Amazing Race takes us to Italy! 🇮🇹 Stay tuned for more fun!

🌴🐢 Day #2 of our Amazing Race Challenges! 🇹🇹

Today we traveled to Trinidad & Tobago, where our teams helped save the baby sea turtles and return them safely to the ocean! 🐢🌊 We also put our sorting skills to the test with colorful seashells, starfish, and seahorses. Lots of laughs and friendly competition all around!

We finished our adventure with a taste of the region—Chicken Pelau! 🍗🥘 Many of us thought it was absolutely delicious!

Another successful stop on our Amazing Race! ✈️🌎
