New Haven Residential Treatment Center

New Haven Residential Treatment Center One of the most experienced treatment teams working with and . Clinical excellence. The warmth and love of a home away from home.

At New Haven, our residential treatment center is built on one simple question: What would I want for my daughter? We know that underneath her struggles – whether with an eating disorder, substance abuse, trauma, or another challenging emotional issue – your daughter is still there, waiting to be discovered, loved back to wholeness, and reunited with her family. After twenty years of working toget

her, our treatment team is one of the most experienced in the field of girls' adolescent treatment. We know from experience that girls struggling with complex emotional and behavioral issues need access to a variety of proven therapies. Experience has also taught us that even the most clinically sophisticated approaches to treatment are only effective if those delivering them come from a place of connection, compassion, and hope. That's what we'd want for our daughters. So that's what we provide for yours. And it works. Our outcome studies show that most of our graduates – even those who have not been successful in other placements – never need another treatment program after New Haven.

✨Meet Kaylan!✨

Kaylan grew up in Utah where she has always enjoyed connecting with others. She began her journey with New Haven years ago as a residential staff, where her passion for working with adolescents grew and it was this experience that solidified her decision to become a therapist.

Kaylan holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Central Florida, she is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Kaylan believes in the value of the therapeutic relationship and works closely with her clients to embrace who they are as individuals.

Kaylan is married to her best friend and together they enjoy spending time outdoors, watching movies, and spending quality time with eachother. Kaylan is a proud mom, and when she’s not at work she loves spending time with her girls.

Riding the scenic lift at Sundance is a great way for students & mentors to remember to be present, slow down & take a look at the beauty all around. ⛰️✨

✨ Meet Lauren & Scooby! ✨

Lauren is our Animal Manager at our Spanish Fork campus who works with our amazing team of horses, Scooby being one of them! 🐴

Equine therapy is a great resource at New Haven for students to develop confidence, trust and empathy in a non-judgmental environment to process their feelings. Horses mirror human body language and emotions, helping us recognize and manage our own emotional state.

Each New Haven campus offers Equine Therapy with a great group of horses for the students and staff to interact with. ✨

Sunrise morning hike to Corona Arch! ✨

Taking students and parents to Moab to camp is such a special part of the process here at New Haven. Connecting to nature, disconnecting from life pressures and just being together is one of the many ways to find healing. 🌎✨

✨ Have you ever tried Sand Tray Therapy? ✨

New Haven offers a variety of therapies, one being Sand Tray Therapy. We have sand tray rooms on each campus, both at Saratoga Springs & Spanish Fork that our students can utilize.

Sand Tray therapy allows individuals of all ages to externalize emotions, trauma, and unconscious thoughts, providing a safe space to process complex feelings without needing words.
