Industrial Vegetable / Seed oils were once used to lubricate planes, ships, and heavy machinery. At some point the food industry decided that it would be a good idea to feed it to the peasants, aka us! Then they made sure that they paid for some studies that showed us how great it was for us, and everyone just believed them.

Although the above correlation does not show exact causation, and the same timeline also saw an increase in overall processed foods, it’s very clear to many experts now, that industrial seed oils have played a significant role in the decline in overall health in the US.

My family spends a lot of time and effort sourcing products that do not contain it, but it’s difficult because it’s in almost everything.
