🌊 We recently enjoyed a trip to the "beach" with fun ocean-themed activities and snacks! 🏖️

🐚 We had a seashell hunt and cooled off with beach pail drinks. Staff faced off in a co****le tournament and enjoyed ice cream! 🍨 We had a fishing activity where staff filled their tackle boxes with "bait" and went fishing for prizes 🎣 , and played name that tune 🎵. We even took part in a hula hoop contest and cooled down with some Sno Cones! 🍧

📣 We are pleased to announce that Life Care Center of Sparta has earned the 2026 Bronze National Quality Award from American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living!

🏆 The National Quality Award Program is a rigorous 3-level process in which organizations are reviewed and evaluated by trained experts. Bronze is the beginning level.

💬 “For us, this award represents our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence,” said Executive Director Justin Freeman. “One of the most meaningful aspects of completing the application was reflecting on everything our team has accomplished together. In the day-to-day operations of healthcare, it is easy to focus on the next challenge or opportunity. The application process allowed us to step back and recognize the many strengths, successes, and quality initiatives that are already in place. 💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.

Join us this week as we celebrate with a variety of fun activities! 🎉
