🎥 Osteopathy Cures Persistent Hiccups
A 67-year-old cancer patient developed near-continuous hiccups after chemotherapy, and a single session of manipulative treatment resolved them completely. Osteopathic evaluation identified somatic dysfunctions in the cervical spine, upper thoracic segments, thoracic inlet, and cranial base, all of which were contributing to disrupted diaphragmatic mechanics and a dysregulated hiccup reflex arc. This case is a compelling reminder that the nervous system's relationship to structure runs deeper than most conventional medicine acknowledges. Watch the full clip to hear Drs. Kent and McCoy break it down. 🧠⚖️
